JJUSA auctions two adult passes on eBay starting at
$0.99 cents!
Jeep Jamboree USA will be auctioning off two adult passes, traveling in the same Jeep vehicle, for the Killington Jeep Jamboree event (July 15 – 17). The auction will take place on the popular on-line auction site www.ebay.com. Bidding will begin on February 19th at 12:00 PM (PST) and will last 10 days. Be sure to mark your calendar as we anticipate a large number of Jeep Jamboree enthusiasts will be bidding on these sought after tickets. We will post a direct link to the eBay auction page on the Jeep Jamboree Facebook page, before the auction goes live. So if you haven’t done so already, please join us on Facebook by clicking here.
All funds raised from this auction will be donated to the Institute for Restorative Health to help pay the medical bills of JJUSA staff member Seth Mailloux. In the summer of 2008 Seth joined the Rubicon Trail kitchen crew at our Rubicon Springs Base Camp. Seth suffers from a rare and debilitating condition called Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. A condition that progressively gets worse over time. Seth has a pump that is located near his stomach which needs to be refilled every 6 months with a drug that causes muscle relaxation which provides some relief to Seth’s current condition. The first treatment (refill) of each year is not covered by insurance and costs about $2,500 dollars. “Seth is one of the most determined individuals I know” says Pearse Umlauf, Vice President of Jeep Jamboree USA. “He provides our entire Rubicon crew with tremendous inspiration. I know the money raised from this auction is going to a good cause”.
Upcoming Jeep Jamboree USA Events
Next month Jeep Jamboree USA kicks off another adventure packed season offering 28 distinctly different backcountry trips for Jeep owners. The season begins in Llano, TX outside of San Antonio with the 6th Texas Spur Spring Jeep Jamboree (March 25 – 27). Join JJUSA Event Staff team members Tom & Carina Gorecki, Local Coordinators Tony & Nancy Winkler and their highly experienced Trail Guide crew as they help you navigate the challenging terrain of the privately owned Inks Ranch. One month after the Texas Spur Spring Jamboree you can join Local Coordinator Bob Yarbrough at the Tennessee Mountains Jeep Jamboree in Oak Ridge, TN (April 22 – 24). Bob has been able to negotiate the use of new off-road trails that will be offered for the first-time to Jamboree participants. These new off-road trails will provide unique challenges for returning participants who are looking for a new adventure.
